Symposium on the Financial Stability Assessment Program with Switzerland 2018/2019
The URPP FinReg, together with experts from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and top-level representatives from industry and practice, held an event on the Financial Stability Assessment Program (FSAP) with Switzerland 2018/2019 on 23 September 2019. This program assesses the progress made since the last IMF FSAP, drawing on a few selected FSAP recommendations. Further information can be found in the flyer.

Abstract: The presentation will consider what is known about UK and EU preparedness for Brexit, and the wider implications, including for the future, of how the UK and EU respectively have addressed the different challenges over the last few months. It will also seek to predict how the EU and UK financial regulation regimes are likely to evolve and the prospects for Capital Market Union, and the evidence of how a new UK/EU relationship might be constructed.
